Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Two Hearts Photography. By booking our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Booking, Ordering and Payment

Kindy and Child Care Photography -

• Parents/guardians must fill out pre-registration form for their child contained on our website twoheartsphotography.au – photos will NOT be taken if this form is not completed.

• A deposit is pre-paid on registration.  This deposit is deducted from the shopping cart on purchase of photography packages.  The deposit is not refundable if no products are purchased. Please refer to our refund policy.

• Two Hearts Photography do not endorse retouching or blemish removal on a child unless specifically requested by a parent/guardian.  An additional fee may be required if this is specifically requested.

• Payment for orders must be received before the product is ordered and delivered.

• We will accept late orders; however, a late fee will be charged.  This will be to cover postage and handling.

• Please note that products and prices may be subject to change without notice.  

All other photography services -

• All bookings require a deposit to confirm your session date and time. The deposit amount will be specified in your booking confirmation.

• The remaining balance must be paid on or before the day of the photo session.

• Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Kindy and Child Care Photography -

• As we have arranged specific dates with your child's centre, if you need to cancel or reschedule your child's photo day, please notify us as soon as possible. Rescheduling will only be possible if we have more photo days at your child's centre.

• Deposits are fully refundable if your child is sick and it is not possible to reschedule to another photo day when we are at your child's centre.

All other photography services -

• Initial deposit is refundable only if rescheduling is not possible.

• If services have been provided, deposit is not refundable.

Photo Sessions

Kindy and Child Care Photography

• It is appreciated if parents can drop their child off on time for their scheduled photo day. Any late arrivals must be communicated immediately.

• If you have specific requests for your child’s photo session, please inform us on the registration form.  This may include such things as “sweep hair to the left”, “change into clean shirt provided in bag” etc

• We aim to take the group/class photo at approximately 10-10.30am.  If your child is to be in this photo, please make sure they arrive in plenty of time to be ready. 

• We reserve the right to go ahead with the group/class photo if your child does not want to participate.  Please understand that every endeavour will be made by your child’s teachers and Two Hearts Photography to include all children in the class photo.  However, if a child is distressed or refuses, their wellbeing comes first and we will not force them.

• Two Hearts Photography reserves the right to cease an individual photographing session if a child is visibly distressed or refuses. While we always endeavour to take the time to connect with a child, sometimes the child might just be having a bad day or are overwhelmed.  The child’s wellbeing is always our priority.

Image Rights and Usage

Kindy and Child Care Photography -

• When registering your child, you must answer if you give permission (“Yes) or do not give permission (“No”) for Two Hearts Photography to use your childs image on our website, flyers, information documents and advertising.

• Parents/guardians are granted personal use rights to the purchased images of their child , which include printing, sharing on social media, and display.

• The Class photo is only available as a print.

All other photography services -

We will provide a social media waiver to be signed if permission given to use images for promotional purposes. 

Image Delivery

Kindy and Child Care Photography -

• Images will be presented for selection watermarked via an online gallery.

• Only edited printed images will be delivered to your child’s centre when ready.

• Digital images will be available as a downloadable file.

• Requests for additional editing or retouching may incur extra charges.

 Liability

• Two Hearts Photography takes utmost care to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our clients. However, we are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages during the photo session.

• In the event of equipment failure, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances, Two Hearts Photography's liability is limited to rescheduling the session or providing a refund of the deposit.

Privacy

• Client information is kept confidential and used solely for communication and booking purposes.

• Two Hearts Photography may feature client images in portfolios, websites, and promotional materials with prior consent.

Acceptance of Terms

By registering or booking a session with Two Hearts Photography, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
